A native of Kokomo Indiana, Dr. Matthew Mast received a bachelor’s degree in Biology from Indiana University before earning his optometry degree from the Indiana University School of Optometry.
After graduating, he moved to Atlanta to pursue an additional 13 month residency in ocular disease at the well-known Omni Eye Services of Atlanta. At Omni, Dr. Mast received advanced training in many areas of medical care for the eyes including pre and post operative cataract care, glaucoma diagnosis and treatment, diabetic eye disease management, and countless others.
Dr. Mast joined Ross Eyecare in May 2006 and enjoys helping a broad spectrum of patients… those in need of an updated glasses prescription, those who have had difficulty in the past being fitted with contact lenses, and patients in need of more personalized, comprehensive eye care. Outside of the office, Dr. Mast enjoys exploring the city’s amazing restaurant scene and concert venues as well as spending time with his wife Crystal and their two children Andrew and Hazel.
